VNERID is operated by Chen Kaihao (陈铠豪), an individual based in China (“VNERID”, “we”, “us”). Our website is vnerid.com. Contact us about these terms, support, refunds or privacy at vnerid@vnerid.com.

These terms govern the website, its free reading materials and any VNERID digital guides offered under these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing; it is a notice, not a request for blanket consent.

We create original commentary, context and reflection exercises about Chinese essays, Eastern philosophical ideas, money, ambition and personal choices. The planned products are downloadable PDF reading guides. They are not physical books, live tuition, personal coaching or one-to-one consulting.

Sales are not open at present. There are no customer accounts, paid orders, subscriptions or automatic PDF delivery on this website. Collection themes are works in development, not products available for purchase. The free sample is an original website essay.

The purchase provisions below describe the conditions for any future paid launch. No payment should be made until a specific product and a working checkout are available. We will disclose the product’s contents, language, format, compatibility, price, delivery method and delivery deadline before an order can be placed.

The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. You must also have legal capacity to enter into a purchase in your jurisdiction. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to do so.

You may browse without creating an account. For a future purchase or a support request, provide accurate information and an email address you can access. Keep any private download link secure. Do not send us passwords, full payment-card numbers or unnecessary identity documents.

浏览网站无需注册账号。未来购买或联系客服时，请提供准确的信息和可正常使用的邮箱，并妥善保管私人下载链接。请勿向我们发送密码、完整银行卡号或非必要身份证件。

PDF guides will be sold as one-time purchases. We do not offer recurring subscriptions, credits, automatic top-ups or automatic renewal. No payment method is charged merely because you visit or save a note.

The checkout must display the selected product, currency, total price and applicable taxes before you confirm payment. Only the amount you authorise for that order may be charged. The receipt identifies the seller and the transaction; do not rely on a guessed bank-statement descriptor.

Our intended checkout provider is Waffo Pancake. When a checkout expressly identifies Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record, the Waffo legal entity identified in that checkout or receipt is the legal seller for the payment transaction and handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes and payment-related refunds under its terms. VNERID remains responsible for its content, licence and product support. This describes the intended arrangement, not an active payment integration or platform approval.

We do not collect or store full card numbers or card security codes on VNERID. Any future payment-card information must be entered only into the identified payment provider’s secure checkout.

PDF 指南计划采用一次性购买，不提供周期订阅、积分充值、自动补款或自动续费。浏览网站、保存笔记均不会触发扣款。

结账页应在确认付款前展示所选商品、币种、总价及适用税费；只可按您为该笔订单授权的金额扣款。实际卖方与交易以结账页、收据为准，请勿凭猜测识别银行卡账单商户名称。

我们计划使用的结账服务为 Waffo Pancake。当结账页明确标明其为记录商（Merchant of Record）时，该页面或收据标示的 Waffo 法律实体为支付交易的法律卖方，并依其条款处理付款、适用交易税费及支付相关退款。VNERID 负责自身内容、使用许可及商品支持。本段说明计划安排，不代表支付已接入或已获得平台批准。

VNERID 不收集或保存完整银行卡号及安全码。未来付款信息只能在已明确标示的支付服务商安全结账页面中填写。

Digital files only; no shipping or physical fulfilment is included. The product page and checkout will state how and by when the purchased PDF will be delivered. We do not promise instant delivery until that feature has been implemented and tested. An order confirmation is not, by itself, proof that a download has been delivered.

If a future order is not delivered by its stated deadline, or its link or file does not work with the advertised compatible software, email vnerid@vnerid.com with the order reference and a description of the problem. We will help restore access or provide a working replacement. Where delivery fails, a material defect cannot be remedied, or applicable law otherwise requires it, the refund provisions below apply.

Download and keep a personal backup when a working file is provided. Do not assume that access to a hosted link, future revisions or lifetime updates is included unless the product description expressly says so. These limits do not remove any right to delivery or remedy required by law.

商品仅以数字文件交付，不包含邮寄或实物履约。商品页与结账页会注明 PDF 的交付方式及期限；相关功能完成并测试前，我们不承诺即时自动交付。订单确认邮件本身不等于下载文件已交付。

若未来订单超过承诺期限仍未交付，或链接、文件无法在已声明兼容的软件中正常使用，请将订单编号及问题说明发送至 vnerid@vnerid.com。我们会协助恢复访问或提供可用替代文件；无法交付、实质性缺陷无法补救，或法律另有要求时，适用下方退款条款。

收到可用文件后，请下载并保留个人备份。除商品说明明确承诺外，不应将托管链接长期可用、后续修订或终身更新视为购买内容。本段不影响依法应提供的交付与补救。

Our voluntary refund policy covers the following problems:

• Duplicate payment: an unintended extra charge for the same order.
• Non-delivery: the paid PDF is not supplied by the promised deadline and the delivery failure is not resolved.
• Defective or materially non-conforming files: a damaged, incomplete, incorrect or inaccessible file, or content materially different from the product description, where a working correction or replacement is not provided within a reasonable time.

After a working, correctly described file has been delivered, we do not offer a discretionary refund simply for a change of mind, not reading or using it, personal disagreement with an idea, or the absence of a desired financial or personal outcome. This limitation never overrides mandatory consumer rights.

To request a refund, email vnerid@vnerid.com using the subject “Refund request” and include your order ID, purchase email, product name, payment date and problem. Please report an issue promptly; there is no short contractual reporting deadline that cuts off a right provided by law. Do not send full card details.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and provide a decision or progress update within 5 business days after receiving enough information. If approved, the refund is submitted to the original payment method through the checkout provider. It normally takes 5–10 business days for a refund to appear after submission, but the provider or bank may take longer. Any shorter legal deadline takes priority. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund due to you.

If applicable law gives you a cooling-off or withdrawal right for digital content, it remains available unless all legal conditions for losing it are met. Where required, delivery during that period needs your prior express consent and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the withdrawal right, with the required confirmation. A download alone is not a universal waiver. We must not assume such a waiver from accepting these general terms.

You may contact us to resolve a payment problem, but doing so is not a condition for exercising any right to contact your bank, the payment provider, a regulator or a court. If a refund cancels a PDF purchase, stop using that paid copy and delete it, except where law permits otherwise.

我们的自主退款政策覆盖以下问题：

在可正常使用且符合描述的文件已经交付后，单纯改变主意、未阅读或未使用、不认同某种观点、未获得期待的收入或人生结果，不属于自主退款范围。该限制不排除消费者依法享有的强制性权利。

申请退款请发送邮件至 vnerid@vnerid.com，主题写“退款申请”，并提供订单编号、购买邮箱、商品名称、付款日期及问题说明。请尽早报告问题；本条款不设置会截断法定权利的短期报障期限。请勿发送完整银行卡信息。

资料充分后，我们争取在 2 个工作日内确认收到，并在 5 个工作日内给出处理意见或进度更新。批准后，退款通过结账服务商退回原支付方式；提交后通常需 5—10 个工作日到账，服务商或银行处理可能更久。法律要求更短期限的，以该期限为准。我们不会强制以代金券替代应退还的款项。

若适用法律赋予数字内容冷静期或撤回权，除非丧失该权利所需的全部法定条件已满足，否则该权利仍然保留。依法需要时，在期间内开始交付须事先取得您的明确同意、对相应丧失撤回权的确认，并提供所需确认文件。仅下载文件并不当然构成普遍适用的权利放弃。接受本一般条款不能被推定为已作出此类放弃。

欢迎先联系我们解决付款问题，但这不是向银行、支付服务商、监管机构或法院行使权利的前提。退款使 PDF 购买被解除的，除法律允许的情况外，请停止使用并删除该付费副本。

Unless a product expressly grants broader rights, a valid purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read that PDF for your own personal, non-commercial use and to keep reasonable personal backup copies. You buy a licence to the file, not ownership of its copyright. Free samples may be read for personal use; they do not grant rights in future paid guides.

Do not resell, publicly upload, distribute, sublicense or share paid files or private download links, or remove copyright notices, without the relevant rights-holder’s permission. This does not restrict quotation, accessibility uses or other exceptions allowed by applicable law.

Our original commentary is distinct from quoted source material. Sources must be identified and any necessary permissions obtained; attribution alone is not a substitute for permission. Third-party rights remain with their owners. Historical and philosophical ideas are presented as material for interpretation, not as proof of universal truth.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact vnerid@vnerid.com with the work, the affected URL or file, your connection to the rights-holder and enough information to assess the claim. We will review substantiated concerns and correct or remove material where appropriate.

Use the site lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not use the site or its materials to commit fraud, impersonate another person, infringe copyright or privacy, distribute malware, facilitate unlawful activity, harass others, promote exploitation or violence, or bypass security or access controls. Do not pass off altered or unauthorised material as an official VNERID product.

We do not offer prohibited products, get-rich-quick schemes, unrealistic income promises, unlicensed financial services, unauthorised copyrighted downloads, physical fulfilment or paid live personal services. Products and marketing must satisfy the rules of any checkout provider actually used, including Waffo Pancake where applicable. A disclaimer does not make otherwise prohibited conduct acceptable.

Your optional next-step note remains in your browser. There is no public posting or file-upload feature, and writing a private note does not grant us rights to publish it.

Our relationship with you under these website terms is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without displacing mandatory protections that apply in the country where you habitually reside. The legal seller’s checkout terms may separately govern its payment transaction.

Contact vnerid@vnerid.com if you have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it. This does not require you to give up any legal deadline or prevent a complaint to a regulator or a claim before a court with jurisdiction. We do not require binding arbitration or waive your right to a court available under mandatory law.

These terms are version 1.0, effective 4 November 2026. We will post updates here with a new date. For a material change affecting an ongoing contractual relationship, we will give at least 15 days’ advance notice on the site, or a longer notice if law requires, except for urgent legal or security changes. Existing purchases remain subject to the terms accepted when purchased unless a lawful change is agreed.

English and Chinese versions are intended to express the same policy. If a difference affects your rights, contact us for clarification; a translation discrepancy cannot reduce mandatory protections or a language right provided by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
